Get started
- Register as an individual or with your team
- Join our Discord for team formation, announcements, and mentor access.
- Arrive at UAlbany ETEC on November 6th for kickoff, keynote, and theme reveal (or join remotely if you're a virtual participant).
- Build your game over the weekend - check in with mentors, hit workshops, and use the run-of-show schedule to plan your time.
- Submit your project on Devpost by [submission deadline] with a link to your game (itch.io) and source (GitHub), plus a short writeup and demo video.
- Present at the closing showcase and find out who wins.
Requirements
What to Build
Whatever you would like! Our event is open to any type of game, tool, software project, whatever you are most interested in.
What to Submit
We require an executable or instructions on how to access your project. You can upload your project to platforms like itch.io, Fortnite Creative, Roblox Creative, etc, but you must explain how we access your game and what we need in order to run your project.
We also encourage documentation and any other relevant materials that explains your creative process so we can see what you've been up to the last 24 hours!!

- Creativity — New ideas!
- Documentation — How well documented your project is
- Theme — How much the project relates to the theme
- Gameplay — How it plays!
- Design — How it looks and sounds!
